Bugaboo Cameleon 3 2017/2018 All-Terrain Stroller Review

The Bugaboo Cameleon 3 2018 is a luxury all-terrain stroller that has a reversible seat, reversible handle bar, and comes with a matching bassinet. It is a 3rd generation model of the Bugaboo Cameleon designed for everyday life.

You can take to the park, shopping center or for a walk in the neighborhood. Since the seat is removable, you can use it as a frame with an included matching bassinet or with an infant car seat (purchased separately). This buggy grows with your baby!

For 2017 the handle bar and the bumper bar got upgraded to a vegan leather that makes this stroller even more elegant.

While there are NO UPDATES for 2018, I’ve still added it to my ‘Top 20 Best Strollers for 2018‘ list.

The maneuverability is absolutely great! The all-terrain foam-filled 12″ rear wheels and adjustable front-wheel suspension will provide your child with a smooth ride. What is interesting about Cameleon 3 is that when you reverse the handle bar, the large rear wheels will become your font wheels allowing you to get through the rougher terrain like grass, mulch or even snow.

One very unique feature of Cameleon 3 is its ability to transform into a TWO-WHEEL mode by removing the smaller front wheels. I’ve never seen a stroller do that! Supposedly, it will make it easier to go over sand or snow. I have not tried it myself, but it does look very unstable to me. Other features that parents enjoy are large canopy, roomy seat and a large basket. With all these great features Cameleon 3 weighs ONLY 21 lbs.

Bugaboo Donkey 2017 Stroller Review

The Bugaboo Donkey 2017 is a luxury all-terrain stroller that transforms from a single into a double side-by-side mode. You can buy it as a single version and get a second kit later or you can buy it as a double.

The MONO (single) version is used for one child and comes with a seat, bassinet, and a shopping bag that you see next to the seat. The DUO version is designed for different age kids and comes with two seats, one bassinet, and a shopping bag.

The TWIN version is designed for two kids the same age and comes with two bassinets, two seats, and a shopping bag although I don’t know where you would put it if you are using two seats all the time. You can also covert it into a travel system with an addition of one or two infant car seats.

This buggy is perfect for active growing family that doesn’t want to slow down despite having multiple kids. The maneuverability is outstanding! You can push it with a pinky.

The 10″ and 12″ air-filled wheels can handle ANY terrain with ease. You can walk trails with this one. There is even a two-wheel mode that helps you tackle snow and sand (personally, I think that two-wheel mode is pretty useless). It also features one-hand deep recline, large basket, huge canopy, automatic lock, standing fold, run-away strap, and adjustable handle bar.

Baby Jogger City Select LUX Stroller Review

The Baby Jogger City Select Lux is an updated version of the beloved City Select. As you probably know, City Select has been one of the best selling strollers for a while. Parents love it’s ability to grow with the family converting from a single into a double inline mode or even a triple mode with an addition of a stroller board.

Needless to say I was super exited to see the new Lux model. Let me tell you, it’s amazing! For 2017 City Select got a complete face lift eliminating all of their drawbacks. Is it a perfect stroller now? It just might be. Let’s take a look.

The City Select Lux is a reversible seat stroller with 20 seat combinations (instead of 16) and an ability to take two infant car seats, two fulls size seats, or two bassinets. You can even transport three kids by adding a stroller board. There is also a new jump seat that you can use instead of the main seat for your older child. It turns Lux into a sit-n-stand type of stroller adding 4 more seating arrangements.

The fold is easier and more compact comparing to the previous one. I like how the seat folds in half protecting the inside of the seat from dirt and damage. Before, it was exposed collecting all the dust. You can fold the stroller with both seat attached. And, they’ve added an automatic lock!

4Moms Origami Stroller Review

4Moms Origami is the MOST high-tech stroller on the market. It is packed with unique tech features like power folding, phone charger, and pathway lights. To fold or unfold it, you literally just push a button and the stroller does the rest! How cool is that? I also really like the phone-charging ability because I am always on the phone when I go for a walk and it dies very often. LOL. I know, I talk a lot.

The Origami is truly a showstopper especially at night when the pathlights and running lights turned on. Prepare to get a LOT of attention with this stroller! It’s designed for kids from 6 months and up to 40 lbs. If you want to use it from birth, you can replace the seat with a car seat or a bassinet (sold separately).

Origami is definitely designed for urban lifestyle, but on-the-go parents will find it very heavy for traveling and not very convenient for running errands. Grocery shopping will also be difficult since there is no basket. A nice walk around the neighborhood to show off your expensive buggy that’s what it is for. It rolls on four wheels with 6″ wheels in the front and 9″ wheels in the back. The all-wheel suspension will absorb some of the bumps if you decide to tackle some mommy terrain like grass or mulch. But keep in mind, this is not an all-terrain stroller.

Mamas & Papas Ocarro 2017/2018 Stroller Review

As you probably know, Mamas & Papas is one of my favorite companies. So, I was very exited to see a new model for 2017 called ‘Ocarro’. While it might be new to the US market, it has been out in UK since October 2016 so there has been some feedback from parents already. Everybody loves it!

It looks like Mamas & Papas took the best features from the Armadillo Flip XT and Urbo 2 models and put it all into Ocarro creating one of the BEST strollers on today’s market.

This buggy has a reversible seat with a one-hand recline that includes a flat position suitable for a newborn. I absolutely love flat reclines where the child can actually fully stretch and does not have to sleep in a half sitting position (it’s also great for diaper changes on the fly).

The large three-panel canopy will provide plenty of shade while a zipped in mesh panel will ensure great air circulation on a hot summer day. You not going to wake your baby up with the magnetic peekaboo window closure instead of noisy Velcro. Large basket can fit a lot of the groceries during your shopping trip. The compact fold will leave plenty of room in your trunk for other things.

Maclaren Techno XT 2016 Stroller Review

Maclaren Techno XT is one of the most popular umbrella strollers on the market and is my favorite! Why do parents love it so much? Well, because this is a very sturdy stroller with great maneuverability and compact fold. The hard rubber 6″ wheels and all-wheel suspension provides a comfy ride even over bumpy streets and playground mulch. The narrow frame and small foot print allows to navigate in tight spaces like small elevators, narrow store aisles, or between the closed park cars on the parking lot with ease.

The one-hand lever recline has four positions including almost a flat one suitable for a newborn. If you have a very tall child, you will love the adjustable canopy that moves up and down the frame giving your child plenty of head room. And speaking of canopies, this one is absolutely HUGE! It expends in the back to expose one more panel and has a pop-out sunvisor for extra coverage.

The seat is very roomy and can accommodate a child from birth and up to 55 lbs. Smaller babies can stretch their little legs thanks to the adjustable leg rest. While there is no travel system option, you can use it with a carrycot for a newborn that inserts into the seat (sold separately).

The basket should fit your medium size diaper bag with no problems. For extra storage Maclaren added a large pocket in the back of the seat. It’s great for small essentials like keys, wallet, or phone. Tall and very tall parents will will love adjustable handle bars (which are very rare in the umbrella strollers) that go from 42″ up to 44″ from the ground. The fold is very easy and compact. You can even fold it with one-hand if you really try. The attached carrying strap makes it convenient for transporting. It weighs 15 lbs which is an average weight for a sturdy umbrella stroller.

I gave it 5 out of 5 stars because I think it has everything you need in the umbrella stroller. The most important features for me are good maneuverability, deep recline and easy fold. Checked! Overall I think this is a very durable high quality model that will last you many years. The biggest drawback of this buggy is the high price of $370. But, I always say, you get what you paid for. You can get Techno XT 2016 in six beautiful colors and it comes with the rain cover.

Baby Jogger City Select Stroller Review

Baby Jogger City Select is an award-winning luxury stroller that became very popular because of its ability to TRANSFORM from a single stroller into a double with an addition of a bassinet, car seat adapter or additional seat. With the second seat, it has 16 different combinations of the seating arrangement. How great is that! It also has great features like large canopy, adjustable handle bar and huge storage basket. It is a sleek stroller that looks very modern and innovative.

There are not many INLINE double strollers that can transform from single into double mode. Most of the double stroller have both seats side-by-side making them very wide and hard to get around things. Try getting down shopping aisles or between parked cars with a side-by-side stroller! You will need to go around the whole parking lot to get to your car.

Stokke Trailz All-Terrain Stroller Review

The Stokke Trailz is a luxury all-terrain stroller with a reversible seat that is designed for active parents who like to spend a lot of time outdoors no matter the season or terrain. As you’ve probably guessed from the name of the model you can easily take if off road and tackle the trails. Uneven city streets, snow, sand or gravel wouldn’t be a problem when you are strolling with this buggy. These large all-terrain air-filled tires can handle anything!

Keep in mind, there is a big difference between foam-filled and air-filled all-terrain wheels. The air-filled wheels have much better natural suspension and provide much smoother ride than foam-filled. For those parents who mostly walk on even surface, foam filled tires will be enough. But, if you want to take it to the sandy beach or snowy street, it’s better to have air-filled tires.

The Trailz comes with a reversible seat, but can also be converted into a travel system or a pram. The seat can accommodate a child from birth and up to 45 lbs. The included infant insert reduces the seat depth and provides more support for a small baby.
