Bugaboo Fox 2018 Stroller Review

The Bugaboo Fox 2018 is a new luxury all-terrain stroller that is a cross between beloved Bugaboo Cameleon and Buffalo models. The new Fox is AMAZING! This lightweight, sleek and super sturdy buggy combines the best features from both models making it great for any lifestyle.

While weighing under 22 lbs it rolls on large all-terrain wheels (8″ and 12″) that together with all-wheel suspension provide great maneuverability and smoothness. This is probably the lightest all-terrain reversible-seat stroller on today’s market. Impressive! BTW, Buffalo is 27 lbs.

The light weight didn’t effect a high weight limit of 48.5 lbs. For comparison the Buffalo has it at 50 lbs and Cameleon at 37.5 lbs. (FIY, the Buffalo model has been discontinued.) The roomy seat has one-hand lever recline with 3 positions and is positioned higher on the frame (at 23″ from the ground) than on Cameleon.

Bugaboo Donkey2 2018 Stroller Review

The Bugaboo Donkey2 2018 is a luxury all-terrain stroller that converts from single into a double side-by-side model with just a few clicks. You can buy it as a single version and get a second kit later or you can buy it as a double if you are having twins.

The Donkey2 is the ONLY stroller on the market that adjusts from single to side-by-side double mode with the frame going from only 23.6″ wide to 29″ wide. The coolest thing is that the seat is still 11″ wide which is a normal seat width. How did the do it? Well, they put the wheels under the seat instead of having them on the sides.

But that’s not all. The Donkey2 is all about storage! It comes with a large side basket that together with the basket underneath the seat can haul a lot of stuff. Plus, you can hang your diaper bag off the handle bar giving you even more storage space. Great for grocery shopping!

This buggy is perfect for active growing family that doesn’t want to slow down despite having multiple kids. The included bassinet option makes it ready for a newborn.

Bugaboo Bee 5 2017/2018 Stroller Review

Bugaboo Bee 5 is a fourth generation of a Bee model which is a luxury lightweight stroller that has a reversible seat. For some reason they did skip number ‘4’.

The Bee 5 model is designed for urban lifestyle where parents live life on the fly. It’s good for running errands, using public transit and traveling.

The large basket can fit a lot of stuff when going grocery shopping. The narrow frame allows to navigate in tight spaces like elevators, narrow store aisles or doctor’s office. The extendable reversible seat grows with your baby providing her with much needed comfort.

The deep one-hand recline is great for long naps and quick dipper changes. The wheels are small, but will be able to tackle SOME mommy terrain like grass, mulch or gravel.

The all-wheel suspension helps to absorb the bumps. Keep in mind that this is NOT an all-terrain stroller so long walks at the park or around town with uneven surface might be very bumpy.

You can turn your stroller into a pram by getting a bassinet. This is a great option for parents who want to buy only one stroller. This way you can walk with a pram for the first 6 months and then replace it with a seat.  Or you can convert it into a travel system by replacing the seat with an infant car seat.

For 2017 here have been a couple minor updates from Bee 3 model:

1) They’ve added new color combinations and different customization options so you can customize it from top to bottom

2) It’s now easier to adjust the height and the depth of the seat

3) They’ve added a small pocket inside of the basket for small essentials so you have place to put your keys. I would rather see them add a small pocket in the back of the seat.

4) The suspension on all wheels got improved to provide a smoother ride.

Note: There has been NO change for 2018.

I gave Bee 5 4 out of 5 stars because despite some of the updates it’s still missing a peekaboo window, has hard to access basket, the fold is very bulky, it doesn’t include cup holder, and the buckle is a puzzle-piece. But, the main problem I have with it is a very high price. If a compact one-hand fold is important for you, I would suggest looking at Cybex Iris M-Air model. Iris is also light, compact, has reversible seat and huge basket.

Overall, I think Bee 5 a great stroller for on-the-go parents who want a lightweight stroller with a bassinet option and a reversible seat. Even after all of the great upgrades, it still looks like a wheel chair. Right? LOL. Unfortunately, the price didn’t get any lower. You can get the stroller frame with the seat and a canopy for around $789 depending on the color.

Bugaboo Cameleon 3 2017/2018 All-Terrain Stroller Review

bugaboo_cameleon29The Bugaboo Cameleon 3 2018 is a luxury all-terrain stroller that has a reversible seat, reversible handle bar, and comes with a matching bassinet. It is a 3rd generation model of the Bugaboo Cameleon designed for everyday life.

You can take to the park, shopping center or for a walk in the neighborhood. Since the seat is removable, you can use it as a frame with an included matching bassinet or with an infant car seat (purchased separately). This buggy grows with your baby!

For 2017 the handle bar and the bumper bar got upgraded to a vegan leather that makes this stroller even more elegant.

While there are NO UPDATES for 2018, I’ve still added it to my ‘Top 20 Best Strollers for 2018‘ list.

The maneuverability is absolutely great! The all-terrain foam-filled 12″ rear wheels and adjustable front-wheel suspension will provide your child with a smooth ride. What is interesting about Cameleon 3 is that when you reverse the handle bar, the large rear wheels will become your font wheels allowing you to get through the rougher terrain like grass, mulch or even snow.

One very unique feature of Cameleon 3 is its ability to transform into a TWO-WHEEL mode by removing the smaller front wheels. I’ve never seen a stroller do that! Supposedly, it will make it easier to go over sand or snow. I have not tried it myself, but it does look very unstable to me. Other features that parents enjoy are large canopy, roomy seat and a large basket. With all these great features Cameleon 3 weighs ONLY 21 lbs.

Bugaboo Donkey 2017 Stroller Review

bugaboo-donkey-2017-21The Bugaboo Donkey 2017 is a luxury all-terrain stroller that transforms from a single into a double side-by-side mode. You can buy it as a single version and get a second kit later or you can buy it as a double.

The MONO (single) version is used for one child and comes with a seat, bassinet, and a shopping bag that you see next to the seat. The DUO version is designed for different age kids and comes with two seats, one bassinet, and a shopping bag.

The TWIN version is designed for two kids the same age and comes with two bassinets, two seats, and a shopping bag although I don’t know where you would put it if you are using two seats all the time. You can also covert it into a travel system with an addition of one or two infant car seats.

This buggy is perfect for active growing family that doesn’t want to slow down despite having multiple kids. The maneuverability is outstanding! You can push it with a pinky.

The 10″ and 12″ air-filled wheels can handle ANY terrain with ease. You can walk trails with this one. There is even a two-wheel mode that helps you tackle snow and sand (personally, I think that two-wheel mode is pretty useless). It also features one-hand deep recline, large basket, huge canopy, automatic lock, standing fold, run-away strap, and adjustable handle bar.

Bugaboo Runner Reversible Seat Jogging Stroller Review

bugaboo-runner21It’s finally here! It’s finally here! I was SUPER excited to review the new Bugaboo Runner. The main feature of this stroller is the REVERSIBLE seat which is a very unique for a jogger.  I’ve been getting tons of emails from parents who want a jogger with a reversible seat. And why not?

Well, finally one of the companies decided to come up with one. Bugaboo Runner is designed for active parents and comes in two versions: 1) as so called extension for those who already own Bugaboo meaning you can just buy the frame and use it with your Bugaboo seat 2) or, as a full stroller meaning you can buy the whole stroller with the seat.

The seat on Runner is very similar to Buffalo seat. It can accommodate a child from 9 months and up to 37.5 lbs. It has the same deep one-hand lever recline, huge canopy, swing-away bumper bar, and adjustable 5-point harness. The basket is large and easy to access.

Bugaboo Buffalo All-Terrain Stroller Review

bugaboo_buffalo13The Bugaboo Buffalo is a luxury all-terrain stroller that comes with a matching bassinet. It’s an everyday stroller designed for active parents who like to run errands, go shopping, and take long walks in the park.

The four shock absorbing foam-filled tires can handle any type of terrain providing your child with a smooth ride. There is even a two-wheel mode that you can use to tackle rough terrain like sand or snow. The Buffalo model has a narrow frame of 24″ making it perfect for navigating narrow store aisles (For comparison City Mini is also 24″ wide).

It’s full of great features like one-hand recline, reversible seat, adjustable handle bar, and large basket. I always complain about Bugaboo canopies, but this one is absolutely HUGE. LOV it! The seat can be used from 6 month and up to 50 lbs.

If you want to use it from birth, simply replace the seat with the included bassinet and vuola! You got a beautiful pram! You can also convert it into a travel system by getting an infant car seat adapter. When it comes to functionality, Bugaboo decided to make it easy by making all the functional sections on the stroller white. Now, even if you didn’t read the instructions (who has the time!), you can figure out how to adjust any of the parts.

Bugaboo Bee Stroller Review

bugaboo_bee2Bugaboo Bee is a luxury stroller that is the lightest model in the Bugaboo collection. Parents love it for its great maneuverability, easy fold, and reversible seat option. You can take to the mall, doctor’s office or public transit with no problems. It is very compact and is designed for on-the-go parents who live in an urban environment and who has a LOT of money. Since it rolls on small 6″ wheels, don’t expect it to do well on grass or mulch. The Bee model is designed for flat surfaces ONLY!

The seat has almost a flat recline so you can use it from birth and up to 37.5 lbs. You can also use it as a frame by removing the seat and replacing it with an infant car seat (you will need to purchase a car seat adapter compatible with your car seat). Weighing 18.5 lbs, the Bee model is somewhere in between a regular stroller and the umbrella stroller. I think it is a little too heavy to be an umbrella stroller and at the same time, the wheels are too small for a full size one. However, it costs like two full featured size strollers. LOL.
