Jané Trider Extreme Stroller Review 2014

jane_trider_extreme1Jané Trider Extreme is a luxury all-terrain stroller that is great for long walks in the park or even light jogging. The hard rubber wheels and all-wheel suspension system with adjustable shock absorbers will provide your child with a smooth ride not matter how rough the terrain gets. The reversible seat sits higher on the frame promoting better bonding and communication at an early age. It also can be used a high chair when you are out and about. It also features large canopy, 5 point harness, adjustable handle bar, and adjustable leg rest. I really like the hand brake instead of the foot brake. No shoe scratches! All this goodness has a weight of 33 lbs.

The fold is very compact for an all-terrain stroller, so you should be able to fit it even into a small trunk. To make it even more compact you can remove the seat and the rear wheels. The seat can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 40 lbs. You can easily convert Trider into a travel system by purchasing a car seat adapter. You can also turn it into a pram by replacing the seat with a bassinet (sold separately).

The Rider Extreme has a very sporty and sleek design. It comes in two colors: blue and red. The red is my favorite because of the gorgeous red metallic frame that matches the color of the seat. The blue one is not bad too, it comes with a gray metallic frame. The blue one has a writing on the leg rest that says “Get your energy back”. I think I will get my energy back only when my daughter Sophia goes to school. LOL. I get no break from her. She is a VERY active toddler.

Jané Rider Stroller Review 2014

jane_rider1Jané Rider is a new luxury stroller from a Spanish company ‘Jané’. It’s designed for everyday use like going to a shopping mall, grocery store, or walking in the park. It rolls on four hard rubber wheels with 6″ wheels in the front and 10″ wheels the back. The Rider model performs best on flat surfaces, but can also tackle some ‘mommy terrain’ like grass, gravel, or mulch. The rear suspension with adjustable shock absorber will provide your little one with a comfy ride.

I really like the reversible seat that sits higher on the frame than on most strollers and can be used as a high chair at the cafe or restaurant. By bringing your baby closer to you, it promotes better communication and bonding at early age. The seat has a one-hand lever recline and can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 40 lbs. You can also remove the seat and replace it with an infant car seat by using a car seat adapter (called ‘Link Fix’ on Jané site).

The Rider model looks very sleek. It comes in three beautiful colors with black or silver frame. The seat has a removable seat liner that has a stylish print on it. The unique feature of Rider model is a VERY compact fold. The folding system reduces the size of the stroller by 30% of the unfolded size. It has one of the most compact folds on the market for a full size stroller. And, you can even fold it with the seat attached. Very cool!  The downsize is a narrow basket that they did in order to make it so compact. It also features adjustable handle bar, adjustable foot rest, easy fold and hand brake (so much better than a foot brake). All these goodness weighs 30 lbs.

Jané Nanuq Stroller Review

jane_nanuq13The Jané Nanuq is a new lightweight umbrella stroller made by a Spanish company called Jané. It’s a very old company that has been manufacturing strollers since 1932. We’ve seen some of their strollers here in the US a couple of years ago, but now they are making a relaunch into the US market with this brand new umbrella stroller.

The Nanuq model is designed for everyday use like running errands around the town, travel, going to the mall, or public transit. The 6″ hard rubber wheels allow Nanuq to tackle rougher terrain like grass, mulch or gravel with no problems. Even though these wheels are larger than on most umbrella strollers, I would still not recommend taking it to a park for a long walk because you will get tired of pushing it after the first 15 min.

The Nanuq has a very sleek sporty design with cool patters on the back of the seat. I absolutely love the bright colors! My favorite is the aqua. It has adjustable handle bars, which is very rare for an umbrella stroller. The seat is very roomy and can accommodate a child from birth and up to 34 lbs. Another great feature of this stroller is a deep one-hand recline operated by a lever and not a strap system! (I am not a big fan of straps). It does NOT have a travel system capability.
