BOB Rambler Jogging Stroller Review

The new BOB Rambler jogging stroller is a scaled down version of the popular BOB Revolution Flex. It’s more compact, has a little less features, and costs about $150 less. Sort of budget friendlier version of Flex. So, let’s talk about differences first.

While you can still jog with it, the rear wheels are a little smaller than on Flex. The seat is not as wide and not as tall. There are no mesh pockets inside of the seat which is not a big deal.

The handle bar is not adjustable like on Flex. All these small differences resulted in more compact fold, cheaper price, and 3 lbs lighter weight of 25 lbs (Flex is 28.5 lbs).

All other features are pretty much the same. It still has: large canopy, high weight capacity of 75 lbs, one-hand strap recline system, large basket, two-step fold, adjustable suspension system, adjustable front wheel tracking, run-away strap, and one-step brake.

It can also be converted into a travel system and works with most popular infant car seats. The Rambler model is a great choice for sporty parents who don’t have space for large jogger like Flex. If you are looking for a little fancier model with more features but the same size, take a look at Bumbleride Indie.

BOB Ironman Stroller Reivew

bob_ironman_strollerBOB Ironman is a lean, mean running machine. LOL. This stroller is designed for serious joggers who are training for long-distance events. BOB Ironman has been selected to be the OFFICIAL stroller of the Ironman Triathlon which is a long-distance race that is organized by the World Triathlon Corporation and held in Hawaii. Do I need to say more?

This is not for those of us who want to lose some baby weight (count me in :)). If you are thinking, hm… maybe I should start running like those moms I saw in the park… Nope. Not for you. If you are a runner, you know you are a runner. This is not an everyday stroller that you can take to the mall or walking on the trails. It is a hard core running and jogging stroller. BOB Ironman has large 16″ aluminum wheels that will go over any uneven road providing a smooth ride. The fixed front wheel maintains stability at all times during jogging.

BOB Revolution Pro 2016 Stroller Review

bob-revolution-pro-2016-15In 2015 BOB has released two new jogging strollers Revolution Flex and Revolution Pro that were an upgrade to the beloved Revolution SE. So I was a little surprised to see changes this year. I mean, why not wait till your product is ready instead of releasing it and then upgrading it a few months later?

Anyways, the 2016 updates included: more upright seat, larger basket, better brake (still not flip-flop-friendly), higher weight limit of 75 lbs, redesigned frame, updated quick-release of the front and the rear wheels, and simpler recline. All these upgrades pushed the weight of the Pro to 30.5 lbs. Heavy!

I am sure parents are pretty confused about the changes and the models. To make it easier for you, the Flex 2016 and Pro 2016 are almost identical except for the different colors, stroller weight, and the hand brake on the Pro model. That’s it! Everything else is the same.

Both models also feature huge canopy, roomy seat, large basket, amazing suspension system, large air-filled tires, easy fold, and adjustable 5 point harness. The large basket underneath the seat is not the only storage. It also has two mesh pockets inside of the seat for your child to store his toys and a large mesh pocket in the back for parents to store their essentials. The seat can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 75 lbs. If you want to use it from birth you can turn it into a travel system by purchasing a car seat adapter. It works with most popular car seats.

BOB Revolution Flex 2016 Stroller Review

bob-revolution-flex2016-16I was a little surprised to see 2016 updates to the BOB Revolution Flex and Pro models since they have been just released last year. I think BOB should’ve waited a little and included all of the updates this year instead of releasing a new version two years in the row. This creates a lot of confusion.

Let me start by saying that Flex and Pro models is an upgrade to the beloved Revolution SE. The 2015 upgrade was only in the adjustable handle bar and an added hand brake to the Pro model. That’s it!

For 2016 we have a lot more stuff like: easier recline system, more upright seat, larger basket, improved brake system, higher weight capacity of 75 lbs, new frame design, improved quick-release of the front and back wheels, and new colors. Because of the new frame design the weight of the Flex model has also increased from 26.2 lbs to 28.5 lbs.

Both Pro and Flex models feature a large canopy, large air-filled tires, state of the art adjustable suspension system, adjustable front wheel tracking, adjustable handle bar, additional storage, and easy fold. It can also be converted into a travel system with an infant car seat adapter. The good thing is that it works with the most popular car seats.

BOB Revolution Pro Stroller Review 2015

bob-revolution-pro1Recently, BOB has released two new jogging strollers Revolution Flex and Revolution Pro. Both models is an upgrade to beloved Revolution SE. The updated models have such minor changes, I don’t know why BOB felt the need to give them new names. Now, I think it’s even more confusing with so many similar models out there. Anyways, the main change that both Flex and Pro have is an adjustable handle bar  with nine different positions.

Aside from different colors the Pro model has a hand brake attached to the handle bar while Flex does not. That’s it! The addition of the adjustable handle bar did increase the weight a little. Other than that it stayed ABSOLUTELY the same.

Just like SE, the Pro model features huge oversized canopy, roomy seat, large basket, and adjustable 5 point harness. The large basket underneath the seat is not the only storage. It also has two mesh pockets inside of the seat for your child to store his toys and a large mesh pocket in the back for parents to store their essentials. The seat can accommodate a child from 3 months and up to 70 lbs. If you want to use it from birth you can turn it into a travel system by purchasing a car seat adapter.

The most important feature of Pro is the wheels. It rolls on large air-filled tires with adjustable state of the art suspension system that provides a VERY smooth ride. From my experience, BOB has one of the best suspension systems on the market. The front wheel is swivel, but can be locked straight. The fold is very easy and as compact as it can be with a jogger.

BOB Revolution Flex Stroller Review 2015

bob_revolution_flex2I love BOB strollers! They are sporty, stylish and high quality. This time BOB has release a new stroller called Revolution Flex. This new model is an upgrade to the beloved Revolution SE. The only difference between the two is the adjustable handle bar that people have been asking for a LONG time. That’s it! The handle bar has 9 different positions and goes from 34″ up to 45″ from the ground.

I can’t believe that they gave it a different name because of the handle bar. BOB has already many similar models like SE, CE and Strides Fitness to choose from.  Now, parents will be confused even more. They  should have just released it with the same name as an upgrade for 2014. The other thing that is new are the colors. Flex comes in four different colors with silver or black frame.

It also has a huge oversized canopy, very room seat, 5 point harness, large basket, and easy fold. But the most important feature of Flex are the large air-filled tires and the state-of-the art suspension system that makes the ride super smooth. These tires can go through anything! That’s why this is THE BEST jogging stroller on today’s market. Just like SE it weighs only 25 lbs which is an average weight for a jogger.
