Britax B-Agile 2018 Stroller Review

britax_b_agile-2016-1The Britax B-Agile is lightweight stroller that is a big competition for City Mini. It has been updated in 2017, but stayed the same for 2018.

Just like City Mini, it has an easy one-hand fold and weighs only 16.5 lbs! You can take it to the mall, park or for a walk around your neighborhood. B-Agile is designed for parents on the go who take their child with when running errands and traveling.

While it’s not an all-terrain stroller, it can handle some of the terrain if you take it off road. The rubber wheels will have no problem tackling mulch, grass and gravel, while all-wheel suspension will absorb some of the bumps providing your child with a smooth ride. This is a truly one-handed stroller that is very easy to push and navigate especially on the flat surfaces.

B-Agile is a VERY stable stroller (especially for being so light) that’s not going to flip over if you hang a bag of the handle bar. It has great features like huge canopy, roomy seat, and large mesh window in the back. The seat has very deep recline that can accommodate a newborn. This stroller can be used from birth and up to 55 lbs. You can easily convert it into a travel system by using included car seat adapter.

Britax B-Free 2018 Stroller Review

The Britax B-Free is a new model from Britax that is an upgraded version of B-Agile with even more cool features.

For starters it has large all-terrain never-flat wheels that can tackle terrain much better than B-Agile. The all-wheel suspension helps to smooth out the bumps. The expendable canopy is also huge, but has a nice magnetic closure instead of the noisy Velcro that you can see on B-Agile.

The seat is also very roomy, but it has higher weight limit of 65 lbs (only 55 lbs on B-Agile), and has an adjustable leg rest (BA does not). The one-hand strap recline goes to almost a flat position suitable for a newborn.

It also features adjustable handle bar, large easy to access basket, 7 storage pockets (wow!!!), true one-hand fold, standing fold, auto-lock and 5-point harness.

You can convert it into a travel system by getting one of the Britax or BOB infant car seats. Or you can buy it as a travel system. All these cool features come at  higher weight of 22 lbs (vs 16 lbs on BA). This is still a very reasonable weight for an all-terrain model (average is around 24 lbs).

Britax B-Ready 2017 Stroller Review

britax-b-ready-stroller-2017-2Britax’s B-Ready 2017 is an all-terrain reversible-seat stroller that has ability to convert from single into a double inline stroller. You can use it with two stroller seats, two bassinets or two infant car seats. There are 12 different seating combinations to choose from!

The B-Ready got a lot of great updates for 2017. The frame has been completely redesigned and now looks much more modern and sleek. The canopy provides more shade. The basket got even larger thanks to the detachable extension. The brake has a color indicator and is super flip-flop-friendly.

The Click & Go System allows you to just click any Britax infant car seat right into the frame and you got a travel system. No adapters needed!

The stroller still features: a roomy seat with a tall canopy, the swing-away bumper bar, a deep one-hand recline, adjustable leg rest, adjustable handlebar, all-wheel suspension, automatic lock, standing fold, and easy fold. The seat can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 55 lbs (which is like 7-year old).

Top Convertible Strollers Side-by-Side Comparison

reversible-seat-strollersConvertible strollers can be used in a single or double mode. If you are having your first child and planning on heaving a second one in the next three years, buying convertible stroller can save you a lot of money.

You can use it as a single with the first child and convert it into a double by adding a 2nd seat. Once the first child gets older and doesn’t need a stroller any more, you can remove the 2nd seat converting it into a single stroller again. Very convenient!

Keep in mind, convertible strollers weigh a few pounds more in a single mode because the base of the stroller needs to be larger and heavier to be able to hold two full loaded seats. That being said, I wouldn’t buy a convertible stroller if you are not sure about the second child. Now, if you are having twins, you definitely need one.

Britax B-Agile 4 Stroller Review

britax-b-agile4-1Britax B-Agile 4 is the same as B-Agile only with four wheels. As soon as Britax has released it, I got a lot of emails from parents asking if four wheels are better than three. I think that four wheels are a little more stable when you going over terrain, but three wheels are easier to navigate when you on the flat surface. Also, keep in mind that strollers with four wheels weigh more because of that extra wheel.

The B-Agile weighs only 16.5 lbs, while B-Agile 4 is 20 lbs. The 3.5 lbs is not a big difference, but it can be a pain especially if you have a baby in one hand and trying to fold and load the stroller into the car with the other.

Just like the original model the B-Agile 4 is a great stroller for on the go parents. You can take it to the park, mall, grocery shopping or doctor’s office with no problems. The hard rubber tires are not all-terrain, but will tackle some grass, mulch or uneven pavement. B-Agile is one of the most popular strollers in the US. It has even made it top 10 best strollers list. Many celebrities picked it over expensive luxury strollers.

The B-Agile 4 also has that easy one-hand fold and so many great features like huge canopy, very roomy seat, mesh window, and large basket. Besides the basket underneath, there is also a large storage pocket on the back of the canopy where you can put small items. It also has a travel system capability and even comes with Britax infant car seat adapter.

Britax Affinity All-Terrain Stroller Review

britax_affinity1Britax have just added a new all-terrain luxury customizable stroller to their collection called Affinity. The stroller comes with three different frames (black, white, or silver). The seat base is gray, but you can choose the color of your seat liner, canopy, basket liner and strap paddings from six beautiful colors that are part of so called ‘color pack’. The seat liner has such nice padding and is so soft, your child will feel very comfy and snug.

This is an everyday stroller that is great for long walks in the park or running errands. What really impressed me in Affinity is maneuverability. The air filled tires together with adjustable all-wheel suspension create an extremely smooth ride.

The leather covered handle bar has the one-hand grip that makes one-hand navigation super easy. My hands are always full. I am one of those moms who has a phone, cup of coffee, or a dog leash in the other hand. LOL.
