The UPPAbaby Vista is one of the MOST popular strollers on today’s market. Parents love its ability to grow with the family from birth to toddler years. It goes from: 1) the bassinet mode 2) to a travel system mode 3) to a single stroller mode and finally 4) to a double mode with an addition of a second seat. You can even add a stroller board for an older child!
As you probably know, Vista got some updates in 2017 including narrower frame, better tires, lighter weight, new accessories, improved sunshade, leather accents, and new colors.
For 2018 there has been only a few minor updates and new colors. The bassinet is a littler longer now so it can accommodate a larger child, the front wheels are now made out of the same material as the rear, the handle bar and the bumper bar on all the Vista models have genuine leather cover (before it was only on some colors).
Every time I test a stroller I always try to improve it in my mind getting it closer to that perfect model. Occasionally I dream of designing my own model thinking what features from what strollers I would take and what style I would use.
As you probably know from my reviews, I am a very practical person who doesn’t want to compromise on style. I do like fashion and I do like brand things.
I would rather have one great stroller instead of 5 cheap strollers for every occasion. That being said, I think I finally found the PERFECT full size stroller. Yes, I am talking about Cybex Balios S! This is an all-terrain reversible-seat stroller that has an one-hand compact fold and it weighs only 24 lbs.
The combination of the large wheels and all-wheel suspension provide a smooth ride. You can easily push it with one hand.
It’s great for long walks at the park, city streets or grocery shopping. You can also turn this baby into a stylish pram by replacing the seat with a carry cot or a travel system by replacing the seat with an infant car seat. It also features huge canopy, adjustable handle bar, extra large basket, adjustable leg rest, flip-flop-friendly brake, and adjustable handle bar.
The Nuna Tavo also known as “One Click Wonder” is a smaller brother of the Mixx model, but less expensive and more compact. While it does not have the reversible seat, it can be easily turned into a travel system with any Nuna Pipa infant car seats without any additional adapters. Just click the car seat right into the seat and you are ready to roll. BTW, Nuna Pipa car seat is one of the safest care seats on the market.
For 2019 Nuna has updated Tavo by giving it new more luxurious fashions and all-weather seat. It comes in two colors with the leatherette accented handle bar. The seat has a removable seat liner and a mesh seat back. Perfect for hot summer days. Also, Tavo used to be sold as a travel system with the infant car seat, but now you can buy it separately.
Just like the Mixx, Tavo has a very deep one-hand recline that goes to almost flat position suitable for a newborn. The roomy seat can accommodate a child up to 50 lbs. The canopy is to die for! It’s large with a pop-out sunvisor plus for the extra protection it has a hidden dream drape that will protect your child completely even with the seat fully reclined. There is a large peekaboo window with a magnetic closure and a zipped in mesh panel for better air circulation.
It also features adjustable leg rest, flip-flop-friendly brake, all-wheel suspension, swing-away bumper bar, adjustable handle bar and a large easy to access basket. The maneuverability is really great. It’s very easy to push with one hand. Folding and unfolding Tavo is a breeze! The stroller just collapses into itself and locks. All this goodness weighs 25 lbs which 2 lbs lighter than Mixx.
This is your standard everyday stroller that you can use for everything from long walks at the park to running errands around town. The wheels are a good size and can tackle all of the mummy terrain.
The Babyzen YoYo+ Plus is an amazing lightweight stroller that folds into the smallest package I’ve EVER seen and I’ve seen a LOT of packages! LOL. The YoYo+ is even more compact than a very popular Mountain Buggy Nano.
This might be the BEST travel stroller ever because it fits into the overhead luggage compartment on a plane and is allowed as a carry-on by most airlines.
No more carrying a baby to the baggage reclaim while praying for your stroller to arrive in one piece. And since it weighs only 13.6 lbs, you can easily carry it over your shoulder.
Despite the compact size, this is a very sturdy stroller that feels very solid. The frame is made out of high quality lightweight aluminum which is light and durable at the same time. I was happy to see a very roomy seat with plenty of headroom for a taller child.
I was blown away by the GB new compact stroller called ‘Pockit’ which is the Guinness World Records smallest stroller! It folds to a tiny package that you can put in your purse.
I thought it couldn’t get any cooler than that, but this year GB came up with a new Pockit+ Plus 2018/2019 model that doesn’t only have a compact fold, but also can turn into a travel system. Wow!
The folded dimensions have slightly increased and now are 12.6″ x 7.9″ x 15″. The weight also have increased and is now 13 lbs instead of 9 lbs. Still very light and very compact model! You should have no problem taking it on board of any airline since it’s way below the maximum size for the carry-on.
The Plus model can be paired with GB or Cybex infant car seat (adapters required; sold separately). They’ve also added a small strap recline to the seat, but you still have to use it from 6 months.

OVERALL
I gave this stroller 5 out of 5 stars because for the most compact stroller in the world it has some great features. Just like the original model Pockit+ Plus features good size basket, adjustable 5-point harness, roomy seat, and one-step brake. It rolls on small 4.5″ wheels that are design for flat surfaces only. Taking it to the park or city streets with uneven sidewalks will be a bumpy ride since there is no suspension.
This model is perfect for parents who travel a lot and run errands so the stroller will be used mostly inside of the airport, mall, or store. It will be ok in the park with an even surface like a theme park for example. I think Mountain Buggy Nano, Babyzen Yoyo+ Plus, and GB Qbit+ Plus have an even more serious competition now.
Note: There has been no changes for 2019.
For 2018/2019 they’ve improved the canopy which can provide some shade now. It’s still small, but much better than before. The basket is still a decent size which is definitely a plus.
PRICE
This model comes in two colors and retails for around $229. I think the price is very reasonable for such a compact stroller.
Detailed Review of GB Pockit+ Plus 2018/2019 Stroller
Here is my detailed review of all the features with photos and overview video.
CANOPY
The Pockit+ Plus has a much better canopy than the previous model where it was barely there. Still it does not provide much sun protection. It doesn’t have a viewing window nor sunvisor.
HANDLEBAR
It has interesting handle bars that are looking more outward and forward than usual. They are covered with nice soft foam. As you probably have guessed they are not adjustable. They are located 39″ from the ground which is an average height for non-adjustable handle bars.
SEAT
The seat is very roomy and since the canopy almost non-existent, you can fit in a very tall child. The seat is 11.5″ wide with 21″ seat back and a measurement of 25″ from the back of the seat to the top of the canopy. The seat has a small strap recline and a zipper at the top to recline the seat even more. It can accommodate a child from 6 months and up to 55 lbs.
There is an adjustable padded 5 point harness with a center release buckle in the middle and a crotch padding.
BASKET
Comparing to full size strollers the basket is small but for such a compact stroller its not bad at all. You can probably fit your medium size diaper bag. It’s also easily accessible from the back and can hold up to 11 lbs!
WHEELS
It rolls on 4.5″ EVA wheels with swivel front wheels that can be locked straight. These wheels are designed for flat surfaces only and not going to handle any other terrain.
BRAKE
There is a one-step brake located on the right rear wheel that will lock both of the rear wheels in place. It’s not flip-flop-friendly.
FOLD/UNFOLD
The fold is super compact. You can almost put it in your pocket! It will definitely fit into my large diaper bag. This is a great news for traveling parents who wants to take their stroller on board on ANY airlines.
Just like the Pockit, the Plus model is way below the maximum size for the carry-on. It has folded dimensions of 12.6″ x 7.9″ x 15″. Weighing only 13 lbs, it’s very easy to carry over the shoulder when not needed. There is no automatic lock, but there is a manual one. There is also standing fold which is probably not going to be used much since it’s just easier to hold it in your hands than bending down to the ground.
Here is the most compact fold.
It can be also folded with the car seat adapters attached.
TRAVEL SYSTEM
You can turn Plus model into a travel system! I did not see this coming. It’s surprising that such a small stroller can accept a car seat. Plus model is compatible with GB or Cybex infant car seat (adapters required; sold separately). BTW, Cybex infant car seats are one of the best and safest on the market.

Where to Buy GB Pockit+ Plus 2018/2019
You can get GB Pockit+ Plus 2018/2019 in two colors for around $229. It comes without any accessories. It’s available on Amazon (free shipping), as well as PishPoshBaby (free shipping). I usually buy all of the baby items on Amazon since it has not only a free shipping, but also FREE RETURNS on many items including strollers unlike most of the other sites that will charge you for the return.
The Bumbleride Indie 2018 is a 4th generation jogger with some minor improvements. It’s designed for active parents who enjoy light jogging and want an everyday stroller with the off-road ability with LUXURY features.
Indie is perfect for moms like me, who is not a serious jogger, but still wants to go for a jog once in a while. Since I am a huge Indie fan and thought the previous model was almost perfect, I was excited to see what improvements Bumbleride came up with.
For 2018 they only had 3 updates:
1) It has an updated UPF 45+ canopy that now sits higher on the frame and can accommodate a taller child. It still offers the same great coverage.
2) The second update made the fold a little easier with redesigned release triggers.
3) New storage pockets in the back of the seat where you can put your water bottle or other small essentials.
And of course they’ve added new colors. The new eco-friendly fabrics are made out of 100% recycled PET materials. Also, no harmful chemicals were used in the process.
There are not a lot of high quality convertible strollers on the market, so I was very excited to see a new Nuna Demi Grow model. This models converts from the single into a double tandem mode with an addition of the second seat.
Since Demi Grow looks very similar to the popular UPPAbaby Vista and has a lot of similar features so I can’t help but compare them throughout my review. And this is going to be a long review… Sorry guys, but there are a lot of features to cover.
The Demi Grow is a very chic and modern stroller that grows with your family. It can accommodate siblings close in age or twins. It can handle two full size seats, two bassinets, or two car seats. Both toddler seats are the same and have a weight limit of 50 lbs.
The seat has huge canopy plus a sunvisor and pull out drape. The one hand recline goes to a flat position suitable for a newborn. I like the zip off seat liner that exposes a mesh seat underneath. Great for hot summer days.
There is also an adjustable leg rest, swing-away bumper bar, adjustable handle bar, easy fold, auto lock, standing fold and huge basket. It rolls on foam filled wheels that together with all-wheel suspension provide a nice ride. The basket is huge and can fit your largest diaper bag.
The Britax B-Agile is lightweight stroller that is a big competition for City Mini. It has been updated in 2017, but stayed the same for 2018.
Just like City Mini, it has an easy one-hand fold and weighs only 16.5 lbs! You can take it to the mall, park or for a walk around your neighborhood. B-Agile is designed for parents on the go who take their child with when running errands and traveling.
While it’s not an all-terrain stroller, it can handle some of the terrain if you take it off road. The rubber wheels will have no problem tackling mulch, grass and gravel, while all-wheel suspension will absorb some of the bumps providing your child with a smooth ride. This is a truly one-handed stroller that is very easy to push and navigate especially on the flat surfaces.
B-Agile is a VERY stable stroller (especially for being so light) that’s not going to flip over if you hang a bag of the handle bar. It has great features like huge canopy, roomy seat, and large mesh window in the back. The seat has very deep recline that can accommodate a newborn. This stroller can be used from birth and up to 55 lbs. You can easily convert it into a travel system by using included car seat adapter.
