BOB Motion Stroller Review

bob_motion_strollerBOB Motion Stroller is the newest addition to the line of BOB strollers. After focusing on jogging strollers for 15 years, BOB have introduced their 4-wheel lightweight compact stroller that is designed for everyday use like going to the shopping mall, grocery store, or doctor’s appointment. But, since it has all-terrain wheels and rugged suspension system, it will handle tough terrain so you can take it to the park, beach or trails.

It looks like BOB really listened to the customers because this stroller has what other BOB strollers are lacking like one-hand fold, adjustable handle bar, and infinite seat recline. Also, Click & Go adapter for B-Safe Infant car seats or any BRITAX infant car seat is INCLUDED. How great is that!

Because of all the great features, Motion is a serious competition for everyday strollers like City Mini GT and Britax B-Agile. It weighs only 23 lb and can hold a child up to 76 lb. You can use it from birth and till college with now problem. :)

Baby Jogger City Elite Stroller Review 2014

city_elite22Baby Jogger City Elite is an award winning luxury stroller that can be used everyday for running errands or going to the park. It has all the bells and whistles of City Mini GT plus some. It features fabulous canopy, adjustable foot rest, roomy seat, and adjustable handle bar. With 12″ forever-air tires and front-wheel suspension, City Elite model can be taken off road. It will provide a smooth ride going over grass, uneven pavement, or playground mulch.

This stroller has almost flat recline and accepts car seat adapter meaning you can convert it to a travel system. You can use it from birth to up to 75 lbs. Although you can put your newborn right into the seat from a very early age, I would recommend using an infant insert for extra support.  You can also convert it into a travel system with most popular infant car seats like Graco, Peg Perego, Britax, Chicco, Evenflo and Maxi Cosi.

Baby Jogger City Versa Stroller Review

city_versa1Baby Jogger City Versa is a luxury stroller that combines features from City Mini and City Select models. Its main feature is a reversible seat, meaning your baby can face you or the world. Other convenient features include large canopy, adjustable handle bar, hand parking brake and easy one-hand fold. And like most luxury strollers, Versa has an adjustable foot rest.

This is NOT a jogging stroller. It’s designed for everyday use like running errands, going to the store or doctors appointment. The all-wheel suspension and 8″ rubber tires absorb a lot of the bumps creating a smooth ride for your little one. Weighing 26.2 lbs with a max weigh of 50 lbs, City Versa looks like a smaller and lighter version of the City Select model. But, it is still heavier than City Mini that weighs only 16 lbs. There is NO double version.

Bumbleride Indie Stroller Review

bumbleride_indie1Bumbleride Indie is my favorite all-terrain stroller. It was a big hit from the moment it was released. Indie is designed for active parents who enjoy light jogging and want an everyday stroller with the off-road ability and LUXURY features. This is perfect for moms like me, who is not a serious jogger, but still wants to lose that extra baby weight.

It has everything a girl can dream off! A huge canopy, adjustable foot rest, deep recline, roomy seat, large basket and light weight frame. That’s right, this jogging stroller weighs ONLY 20 lbs! The air-filled tires and rear suspension system provide exceptionally smooth ride. It glides with ease and can be pushed with one hand. The seat is made out of eco-friendly material that helps to regulate temperature and absorb moisture.

You can easily convert it to a travel system with the included car seat adapter or by purchasing a matching bassinet. The seat can also convert into a bassinet-like environment making if perfect for a newborn (you might not even need to get a bassinet). Bumper bar is also included in 2013 model. This stroller can be used from birth up to 45 lbs. If you have twins, it is not a problem. The double version is also available. If you are not into jogging  and would like to get an all-terrain stroller, check out Indie 4 model.

Bumbleride Flite Stroller Review

bumbleride_flite1Bumbleride Flite is an amazing umbrella stroller that weighs only 14 lbs, but has a lot of features of a regular stroller. That’s right! Even though it is an umbrella stroller, you get a large canopy, roomy seat, deep recline, all-wheel suspension, adjustable footrest, and an INCLUDED car seat adapter so you can convert it to a travel system. Not many umbrella strollers have such a deep recline (many don’t recline at all) and a very few can covert into a travel system. BTW, this is the lightest stroller in the Bumbleride collection.

The seat is made out of high quality eco-friendly material that is a blend of bamboo and nylon fabrics (it  feels expensive). It’s a very sturdy and stable stroller that is designed for urban lifestyle. You can take it to the mall, doctor’s office, or for a stroll around the neighborhood. For parents that travel a lot, this is one of the BEST strollers currently on the market.

While Flite will handle off-road terrain better than your usual umbrella stroller, it is NOT made for all-terrain. It has small rubber wheels that do better on flat surfaces. The all-wheel suspension system will absorb bumpy urban sidewalks with ease making it a smooth ride. Double option is NOT available for Flite.

I gave this stroller 5 out of 5 stars because it’s perfect! For once I don’t have anything bad to say. The basket is small, but I don’t think it can be any bigger without effecting the compact fold. it

Bumbleride Flyer Stroller Review

bumbleride_flyer13Bumbleride Flyer stroller is so popular because of its reversible handle bar that gives your child ability to face you or the world. Weighing 19 lb, this stroller is somewhere in between an umbrella stroller and a regular stroller.

The problem I have with it, is that there is a not enough storage and the wheels are too small for a regular stroller. At the same time, it is too heavy (19 lbs) and too big for an umbrella stroller. You really can’t carry it over the shoulder like you normally would with an umbrella stroller.

Flyer is designed for flat surfaces like mall, sidewalks, doctor’s office or airport. It is very difficult to push over uneven terrain like grass, gravel or mulch. This is definitely NOT all-terrain stroller.

It does have a lot of great features like large canopy, adjustable foot rest, roomy seat, and easy fold. But the main reason why people buy is the REVERSIBLE handle bar. For some people facing their child is the most important feature in the stroller. It’s a HUGE selling point, and they are willing to overlook the weight and small wheels. If you want a lighter stroller with a lot of features, I would suggest City Mini or Britax B-Agile since tehy weigh only 16 lbs. Bumbleride Indie is another great option. It weighs almost the same at 20 lbs, but is a jogging stroller that will go through anything no matter how rough the terrain gets.

UPPAbaby Cruz Stroller Review

uppababy_cruz1UPPAbaby Cruz is a lightweight stroller with reversible seat. The Cruz model is little sister of a Vista since it is lighter and more compact.  It’s designed for on-the-go parents who live in an urban environment. You can take it to the store, shopping mall or doctor’s office. It has small wheels and narrow frame that makes it very easy to navigate store aisles and tackle tough sidewalks. It is NOT your all-terrain regular stroller. You will have a hard time taking it to the park to walk a trail. It is not designed for going over grass, gravel or mulch.

Cruz is somewhere in between the umbrella stroller and your regular stroller. The wheels are too small for a regular stroller and at the same time, it is too heavy (22 lbs) to be an umbrella stroller.

Usually parents have two stroller: a heavier all-terrain stroller that you can take to the park or for a stroll around the neighborhood, and a lighter one that you would take to the mall, doctor’s office or on the plane. For parents who want to save money by buying only one stroller, Cruz is a great choice. It will definitely get you through the first 3 years. The roomy seat can accommodate a child from birth and up to 50 lbs. You can also convert it into a travel system by getting an infant car seat adapter.

UPPAbaby Vista Stroller Review

uppababy_vista1UPPAbaby Vista is one of the COOLEST looking strollers! Every time I saw someone with Vista when I was shopping for a stroller, I couldn’t help turning my head. It looks so modern and sleek! Beside the awesome look, parents are absolutely in LOV with Vista because it has a reversible seat and a matching bassinet (included), so you can walk with a pram during your baby’s first six months looking all fabulous! It is a luxury stroller that grows with your baby from birth and up to 50 lbs.

You can also get a car seat adapter and turn it into a travel system. If you planing on having a second child, Vista got you covered. With an additional rumble seat, you can convert Vista into a double in-line stroller. And this is not all. You can purchase a piggy back/glider board to add a third older child.

Vista is an all-terrain stroller that you can take to the park, playground, or a shopping mall. The rubber wheels and all-wheel suspension make it easily to go over the mulch, grass or gravel. The over-sized basket underneath the seat, can fit two large diaper bags, so you can definitely take it grocery shopping. It also has a great canopy, one hand recline, easy fold, and adjustable leg rest.
