If you have been reading my blog, you’ve probably noticed that most of my reviews are on expensive strollers. As a stroller addict I like luxury strollers that come with all the bells and whistles. In reality, you really don’t have to go broke buying a stroller. There are some very affordable high quality strollers that are full of great features.
In today’s post, I want to tell you about 7 amazing strollers that you can get under $200. I have tested all of them personally and was very impressed. Despite the low price, all of them are high quality and have highest reviews from parents.
I am liking to Amazon which usually has the lowest prices, but keep in mind that prices might vary depending on the color, model and seller. I did find ALL of the strollers below for under $200 except for the last travel system.
1. Britax B-Agile – $185
Britax B-Agile is one of the most popular strollers on today’s market. It’s made it to my top 10 strollers list two years in the row and might make it a third time. It’s that good! This is a very practical stroller that is designed for busy on the go parents that run around town a lot. It has very compact one-hand fold and weighs only 16.5 lbs which is light for a full featured stroller.
The canopy is absolutely HUGE! It will provide plenty of shade for you little passenger. The deep recline goes to almost flat position making it suitable for a newborn. The seat is very roomy with plenty of head room in case you have a tall child. It can accommodate a child from birth and up to 55 lbs.
The maneuverability is outstanding! The all-wheel suspension and 9.5″ rear wheels make this an one-hand-push stroller. You will also love features like adjustable padded 5 point harness, flip-flop-friendly brake, swivel front wheel, medium size basket, mesh window in the back, and additional storage pocket.
Despite being so light, it still has a travel system capability and even comes with a car seat adapter. This could be your ONLY stroller. You can get it for only $185 on Amazon (free shipping/free returns and no sales tax). The price could vary depending on the color and a model year. Here is my full review »

2. Joovy Scooter – $139
Joovy has really stepped up this year with the updated Joovy Scooter model. This sporty looking stroller is full of luxury features, but still costs under $200. It’s designed for everyday life. You can take to the playground, mall, grocery shopping or to the park.
It rolls on four hard rubber wheels with front swivel wheels that can be locked straight for rougher terrain. The wheels are medium size and will perform best on flat surface, but can handle some terrain like grass, mulch or gravel. The roomy seat has a deep recline and can accommodate a child from 3 months and up to 55 lbs. If you want to use it from birth, you can convert it into a travel system.
There is an adjustable handle bar that goes from 29″ up to 42″ which is perfect for shorter and taller parents. The canopy is HUGE! It will provide your child with full sun protection. Scooter has plenty of storage. Aside from a large underneath basket, it features two mesh seat pockets where your child can store some toys and snacks, one zipper pocket and one mesh pocket on the back of the canopy where parents can store their keys and cell phone, and a cup holder.
To provide your child with even more room to stretch, there is an adjustable leg rest. 3. Baby Jogger City Lite – $179
Right after hitting the market City Lite became one of the fast selling and top rated strollers. It is very similar to beloved City Mini, but is lighter has smaller foot print, larger rear wheels, better suspension, higher weight limit, and more compact fold. This stroller is designed for everyday including going grocery shopping, mall, park, and traveling.
It’s for an urban environment because it doesn’t take too much storage room and is perfect for navigating crowded streets and narrow store aisles. When using a public transit you can easily fold it with just one-hand while holding a child. It weighs only 16 lbs which 1 lbs lighter than City Mini. Because of it’s small foot print, compact fold and light weight many parents prefer City Lite model over an umbrella stroller.
Despite being so light and compact City Lite has a lot to offer. The roomy seat has deep one-hand strap recline and can accommodate a child from birth and up to 55 lbs. BTW, the seat has more headroom and higher weight limit than on City Mini model. There is a large mesh window in the back that provides nice air circulation on a hot summer day. The canopy is so big they had to put two peekaboo windows on it. I was also very happy to learn that City Lite has travel system capability.
The maneuverability is awesome! The all-wheel suspension and 10″ rear AVA wheels provide a smooth ride. I was pleasantly surprised to see such large rear wheels on such a light stroller. For comparison, City Mini has only 8″ rear wheels. Although it’s not an all-terrain stroller, because of the large rear wheels and all-wheel suspension, you will be able to take it for long walks at the park with not problems. It handled grass, mulch, and gravel very well when I was testing it. Keep in mind, it’s not a jogging stroller.
As I mentioned above, it has an easy compact one-hand fold that folds the stroller in half. It also features adjustable padded 5 point harness, large mesh pocket in the back, automatic lock, and medium size basket. Overall, it’s a fabulous stroller that could be your ONLY stroller. Another great thing about it is the price! It cost only $179 on Amazon (free shipping/free return and no sales tax). It comes in three different colors with a black frame.

This umbrella stroller has been named the best umbrella stroller by many websites because of the combination of features and price. It’s great for traveling, public transit, and quick ins and outs. It has everything parents want in the umbrella stroller like deep recline, medium canopy, roomy seat, and compact fold.
Although it doesn’t have the travel system capability, the seat can accommodate a child from birth and up to 4o lbs. The 3D Zyre by Summer Infant is a new lightweight umbrella stroller that could be a great second stroller for parents that are ready to downsize and ditch their bulky travel systems. This 14 lbs stroller is perfect for running errands, traveling or using public transit. It’s light, compact and easy to navigate. And for that price, you are not going to cry yourself to sleep if it gets damaged on the plane.
