Single Stroller Comparison Chart

main-pic1Putting together this stroller comparison chart was a fun project, but a LOT of work. This chart has TOP single strollers that are sold on today’s market. It took me a few weeks to find and sort all the information and another week to set up the chart. My goal was to create an easy way to compare different strollers in one place (something that I couldn’t find anywhere).

One of the most important factors when choosing a stroller is its weight and that was THE hardest thing to find. I had to go to the manufacture site for each stroller to see what the correct weight is. Surprisingly, some of them give you all the information in the world, but not the weight. Many of the sites that sell strollers including Amazon, provide incorrect weight info.

That is why I wanted to make sure I provide you with the MOST accurate information. Many strollers are available in other colors than displayed in my chart. I tried to find the lowest prices for each stroller to save you money (Keep in mind, prices can vary depending on the color). I’ve also put together a list of top 20 best strollers for 2018 that you can buy right now. All of these strollers have received the highest reviews from me and the parents.

How to use this chart

This is a dynamic chart that sorts information without reloading this page. To sort information, click on little black arrows at the top. You can use a ‘Search Box‘ to filter information. To see only jogging strollers, type ‘jogging’ in the search box.

What do you think?

If you think I missed any of the strollers, please let me know by using comment box below and I will add it to the chart. When putting together this chart, I was debating whether I should combine all the of the strollers in one chart, like I did above, or separate them by stroller type (lightweight, jogging, standard). Since this chart is so long, it might take a while to load.

Peg Perego Pliko Mini Twin 2016 Stroller Review

pliko-mini-twin21The Pliko Mini Twin 2016 is the new double side-by-side umbrella stroller from Peg Perego presented at the ABC Kids Expo 2015. For those of you who don’t know, Peg Perego is an Italian company that has been making strollers since 1949.

The Pliko Mini Twin model is the lightest twin stroller in the Peg Perego family. It weighs only 24 lbs and can accommodate twins or siblings close in age. This is a compact model with adjustable handle bars that is designed for running errands, going to the park and traveling. The fold is very easy and can be done with just one hand. The carry handle on the side makes it easy to transport when folded.

Both roomy seats have deep one-hand reclines that goes to almost a flat position suitable for a newborn. The seats can accommodate a child from birth and up to 45 lbs. It does NOT have a travel system option. Individually adjustable leg rests provide babies with more stretching room.

Top Umbrella Strollers Side-By-Side Comparison

all-strollers4The umbrella strollers are great for running errands, traveling, and public transit. They are known for their light weight and compact fold. While some umbrella stroller are a little heavier and can be turned into a travel system, others are lightweight and can be carried over the shoulder.

I think that umbrella models are great as a second lighter stroller. Some with more features can even be your ONLY stroller. Since the wheels on umbrella strollers are on a smaller side ranging from 5″ – 7″, it works best on flat surfaces.

Most models have useless baskets and non-adjustable handle bars. In the past, the canopies were very small, but lately companies are paying more attention to what parents want so the canopy size have increased.

I decided to put together a list of most popular umbrella strollers and give you a side-by-side comparison that should help you decide on what stroller is best for you.

2015 UPPAbaby Cruz Stroller Review

uppababy-cruz-2015-1As you all know for 2015 UPPAbaby has updated its line of strollers. While 2015 Vista got a whole face lift, the Cruz got new larger rear wheels and now comes with included bumper bar. That’s all. Everything else stayed the same. The whole UPPAbaby line of strollers have new pretty colors to choose from.

The Cruz is full of great features like reversible seat, deep one-hand recline, large canopy with a big pop-out sunvisor, x-large basket, adjustable padded 5-point harness, adjustable leg rest, adjustable handle bar, flip-flop friendly brake, and all-wheel suspension. Despite the larger wheels, the weight stayed the same at 22 lbs. I don’t know how they did it.

The Cruz is a great stroller for urban lifestyle. The x-large basket is perfect for grocery shopping. The narrow frame (22″ wide) allows you to fit through tight doorways, down narrow aisles, along crowded city sidewalks and rocky garden paths with ease. The all-wheel suspension and AirGo wheels mimic the cushioned ride of air filled tires providing your child with a smooth ride.

The deep almost flat recline can accommodate a child from birth and up to 50 lbs. For a newborn you can transform it into a pram by replacing the seat with bassinet (sold separately) or you can turn it into a travel system by replacing the seat with an infant car seat. The UPPAbaby Mesa car seat plugs right into the Cruz without any adapters. It’s a great car seat btw.

Peg Perego Book Pop-Up Stroller Review

peg-perego-book-pop-up18After seeing the success of UppaBaby Vista stroller that has a reversible seat and a matching bassinet, Peg Perego decided to release the  Book Pop-up model. This is a luxury stroller that has reversible seat and comes with a matching bassinet. It’s designed for everyday life like running errands, going the to mall and to the park. The wheels are NOT all-terrain, but will handle some so called ‘mommy terrain’ like grass, mulch or uneven pavement. The polyurethane airless tires with ball bearings and all-wheel suspension create a smooth ride and make the wheels turn on a dime. This is a truly one-hand stroller with great venerability.

The fold stayed the same as in Book and Book Plus models. I will do comparison between the models later, but they have a lot of the same features. The Book Pop-Up is a little more luxurious than other models. It has a leather handle bar and a leather bumper bar. The basket is huge and very accessible even with the seat fully reclined. The canopy is humongous! It goes down all the way to the leg rest shielding your child completely. It also features adjustable handle bar, adjustable leg rest, automatic lock, standing fold, and 5 point harness. The stroller weighs 23.7 lbs which is a great weight for a reversible seat model.

You can convert Book Pop-up into a pram by replacing the seat with an included bassinet or convert it into a travel system by replacing it with an infant car seat. There is no additional adapters needed if you are using Peg Perego Viaggio Infant Car Seat. The included bassinet is very cool. It has a large canopy with a dark mesh panel, adjustable head rest inside with three positions, curved outside bottom for back and forth rocking and a removable cover. It can be used as free standing bassinet at home and even has a compact fold.

Inglesina Trilogy Stroller Review

inglesina_trilogy11Inglesina Trilogy is a luxury stroller with a reversible seat and easy one-hand umbrella like fold. It is designed for busy parents who live in an urban environment. Take it shopping, public transit or for a quick stroll around town while looking stylish and chic. The sealed bearing wheels are not all-terrain, but will handle some mommy terrain if you lock the front wheels.

You will really like the roomy reversible seat with adjustable leg rest and one-hand lever recline. The deep recline can accommodate a child from birth and up to 55 lbs. The canopy is absolutely huge! It goes down all the way to the leg rest and has the follow-the-sun option. The large basket can fit a lot of groceries. It’s a little hard to access. It also features flip-flop friendly brake, 5 point harness, and comes with a single or double handle bars.

The one-hand fold is pretty compact for a reversible seat stroller. It has also a standing fold and an automatic lock. You can convert Trilogy to a travel system by replacing the seat with a car seat, or a beautiful pram by replacing it with a bassinet. This model weighs only 21 lbs which is lightweight for a stroller with a reversible seat.
